MegaMel - Why Stay At The Hotel Granada, Nicaragua
Sandie and I saw some signs along the highway as we rode the VStrom north toward Honduras. Our guidebook said Granada is the most visited town in Nicaragua and we didn´t want to miss it. The Plaza was "jumping" as we rode around it and worked our way down Calle Calzada to the Hotel Granada. It´s my choice for the number one place to stay. Carlos has been working for almost four years to make the Granada hotel your first choice. We loved it. He still has three or four more years to complete the project but the hotel is ready for you. The staff is super. The "Colonial" rooms with wood floors and wood vaulted ceilings are immaculate and impressive. Flat screen TV, excellent AC, quiet flush toilets, great hot water, tile, NICE! The art gallery on the lower level will impress you. Beyond that is the olympic size saltwater pool that is sure to get your attention. Go for it!

This video is of inside the hotel Albergue where i stayed in El Castillo Nicaragua. Very nice hotel and friendly staff. The hotel was a very open concept so may not be for everyone but I enjoyed it. Also in the video is some various footage around the area. next time down I need to film more in town footage...
